Foundation of Snigdha Midha Fine Jewellery
From an early age, my relationship with creativity was instinctive rather than learned. I was drawn to observing, sketching and noticing form where others might overlook it. Over time, this way of seeing evolved into a habit of finding meaning and imagery in the smallest details, whether in lines on paper, textures in stone or patterns hidden within marble. Inspiration, for me, has never been confined to scale. It exists equally in the subtle and the monumental.
I always knew that my path would lie within a creative field. While there were several directions I could have pursued, I felt a natural pull towards materials that originate from the earth itself. My closeness to nature and my respect for raw elements gradually shaped this choice. Jewellery, particularly fine diamond jewellery, felt like a natural extension of that inclination.
Diamonds have always held a quiet fascination for me. Their brilliance, their fire and the way they respond to light feels almost alive. Each stone carries an individuality that cannot be replicated, and that sense of singularity continues to inspire my design philosophy. Jewellery, in this form, becomes not merely an object of adornment but a dialogue between material, light and intention.
My mother’s deep appreciation for fine jewellery also played an important role in shaping this journey. Watching her relationship with well-crafted pieces instilled an early understanding of jewellery as something enduring, personal and deeply meaningful.
Snigdha Midha Fine Jewellery was founded on this intersection of observation, craftsmanship and emotional connection. Every piece reflects a belief in thoughtful design, disciplined execution and the quiet power of objects created with intention. This is jewellery meant to be lived with, understood slowly and valued beyond trends.
The Actual Cocktail Ring
It all began when her mother, a connoisseur of fine jewellery and patron of art had purchased a cocktail ring. The high school student Snigdha wondered why is called a cocktail ring when a cocktail looks something totally different. It was then she drew her first sketch and hence came into being the iconic - Actual Cocktail Ring.
Though it looks like a cocktail, it comes with a unique mechanism of folding into a ring. It is one of the most popular Midas product
Watchmaking
Snigdha Midha, a connoisseur of fine watches always insists that though women have various pieces of jewellery to adorn themselves, its a man who struggles at finding a tasteful watch for a watch a very important accessory which lets a man indulge in a little dose of extravagance while reminding them to be punctual, dependable and reliable.
This expanded Snigdha Midha Fine Jewellery’s arms in watchmaking and gave birth to its quintessential timeless classics
